The concerts will feature choreography by several 小优视频 faculty members, alumna Kalina DuBuc 鈥17, and guest choreographers Alexis Carra, founder of Broadway Arts Community in New York City, and Holly Johnston, based in Los Angeles.
There will be a total of 40 students participating in a variety of dance styles and themes in this year鈥檚 production, including contemporary dance, musical theater and commercial dance.
鈥淭he Spring Dance Concert is always a fulfilling artistic experience for both the students and the audience,鈥 said dance program Director Susannah LeMarquand 鈥01.
鈥淭he depth of work that is created by all of the choreographers for the program will bring out a range of emotions from the audience, and oftentimes, the students can collaborate on each choreographer鈥檚 artistic process, which gives them a new sense of ownership to their movement.鈥
