Graduate International Admissions

With students enrolled from around the globe, 小优视频 celebrates opportunities for diverse cultural and educational exchange. Nearly 30% of 小优视频鈥檚 graduate students come from outside the United States 鈥 we鈥檙e just missing you!

International students are eligible to apply for the following degree programs and must maintain full-time student status by taking a minimum of eight credit hours each semester:

*Unofficial documents will be accepted for application evaluation, however official documents are required to enroll.*

Step 1:听Complete the听. Pay the nonrefundable $40 application fee.听

Step 2:听Submit official transcript(s)听(e.g. marksheet, academic record, certificates or diplomas)听

  • For each post-secondary institution attended, submit an official transcript.听听
  • Documents and transcripts not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Course-by-course evaluations are highly recommended.听
  • 小优视频 will accept the electronic transcript as official if it is submitted through one of below providers听听
  • Hard copies of official transcripts must be submitted in a sealed envelope directly from the school or institution.

Step 3:听Submit official GRE or GMAT test scores听

GRE or GMAT test scores are required except for the following programs:

Standardized tests must be taken within five years of the desired term of entry. Official scores must be requested and sent to 小优视频 directly from the testing agency.听

Waivers of the GRE/GMAT exam are only considered for those applicants who earn a degree in business from an AACSB-accredited institution. Work experience is not considered in the waiver request.听

Note: Meeting the criteria listed above only qualifies a student to request a GMAT waiver. All GMAT waivers are reviewed on an individual basis and must be approved by a committee. Please contact your admissions counselor for more information.


Step 4: English proficiency requirements

International applicants who have not earned at least a bachelor鈥檚 degree in the U.S. must submit official English proficiency test scores to 小优视频 directly from the testing agency.听Minimum test scores required:

  • IELTS 鈥 6.5听
  • TOEFL 鈥 90听
  • Duolingo 鈥 120

Step 5: Submit additional information

Upload any items required by your program to the Spartan application portal.

  • Personal statement, 500-1000 words, written in English听
  • Professional resume听
  • Two reference forms completed by individuals who can attest to the applicant鈥檚 professional background and academic potential.

M.S. in Business Analytics听(STEM approved):

  • Prerequisites: FIN 500 Foundations of Finance and QMB 500 Statistics for Decision Makers, or equivalent graduate-level courses

M.S. in Cybersecurity听(STEM approved):听

  • Thesis track - A writing sample is required. This can be any significant writing that the applicant wishes to share, such as a course paper or publication

M.S. in Entrepreneurship:

  • Three-to-five-minute video pitch
  • One-page written pitch to include how the program will benefit applicant鈥檚 entrepreneurial goals

Doctor in Business Administration (EDBA):

  • Master鈥檚 Degree Required - preferably in a business discipline or quantitative field
  • Personal interview or communication with program director
  • Comprehensive essay articulating research or business issues(s) the candidate would like to address while earning the EDBA
  • Seven years of relevant professional work experience (leadership roles preferred)

小优视频 has rolling admissions. Although there are no hard deadlines, we recommend the following dates as guidelines:

Fall intake (end of August):听Applications should be completed by the end of May.听
Spring intake (mid-January):听Applications should be completed by October.

Step 2:听Submit documents for your I-20听

I-20 Requirements

International applicants requiring an I-20 for an F-1 student visa should upload the following documents via your听:

  • Copy of biographical page of your passport听
  • Bank statement/proof of funds. Must be completed by bank and stamped with bank seal, printed within six months, and show funds above the required amount per the above Financial Certification Form.听
  • Financial Certification Form听(Upload the completed form under your SpartanStart portal.)
  • International Student Clearance Form听(if currently studying in the U.S.).

Step 3: Apply for F-1 Visa

  • You will receive an email when your I-20 is ready with instructions regarding next steps.听
  • You must pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee and then schedule an appointment with the US Consulate or Embassy for the Student Visa application. Learn more about听the visa process.听
