Career Specialties

David Zeller's interests include social psychology, social movements, environmental and urban sociology, deviance and both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Professional and Community Activities

David Zeller's research has examined community and civic engagement in the Tampa Bay area, contentious framings of controversial environmental technologies within the U.S. environmental movement, and public housing residents' experiences with displacement and relocation, among other issues. His individual and collaborative efforts have resulted in multiple publications, and he has presented his research findings at national and regional scholarly conferences, and as an invited speaker. Zeller is also a member of the Tampa Bay Estuary Program's Social Science Subcommittee.
